My goal is to find those products that are effective for a person on a low-carb diet. I have listed the products in order of their effectiveness.
What do I mean by "low-carb"? Low-carb is defined as a diet that is low in carbohydrates. When the body is deprived of carbohydrates, the body turns to fats for energy. A low-carb diet is typically comprised of no more than 20 percent of calories coming from carbohydrate. A person eating a low-carb diet should have no more than a 2,000-calorie-per-day diet. The lower the carbohydrate, the higher the calories that are available. What about protein? When it comes to protein, low-carb diets are low in protein because you don't need any more than 1 gram per pound of bodyweight daily. If you are looking to reduce your carb intake and gain muscle and endurance, you can use low-carb to help you do that, too. Low-carb, high-protein diets: what do you need to know? While high-protein diets, such as Atkins, have traditionally been the go-to way to cut carbs, low-carb is also a great way to add some protein. If you want to lose weight, you should use a low-carb diet, not a high-protein one.
